International Conference ITS Forum – Kazan “Modern Problems of Life Safety” to be held on February 27-28

On February 8, at the Government House of the republic, held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, organizing committee responsible for preparing and conducting the Conference ITS Forum – Kazan “Modern Problems of Life Safety: Intelligent Transport Systems and Situational Centers” took place.

The fifth International Research and Practice Conference ITS Forum – Kazan “Modern Problems of Life Safety: Intelligent Transport Systems and Situational Centers” will bring together leading Russian and foreign experts, scientists, engineers-developers and development experts in situational centers and transport systems.

Promising directions of research and achieved practical results of the development and integration of telecommunication technologies and means of automated interaction of road infrastructure facilities, cargo and passenger terminals, vehicles and mobile device users will be discussed.

The Conferences were held in Kazan in 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2016 and received broad support from the specialists.

Pesoshin also said that the application to host the European Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems in Kazan in 2020 had been made.

Deputy Minister of Information and Communications of the republic Bulat Ismagilov informed about preparations for the event.
