Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin hands in diplomas to winners of the 15th Open Regional Contest for Quality Awards of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan following results of 2019

On December 4, at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, Head of the Russian Quality System Non-Profit Organization Maksim Protasov and other officials took part in a ceremony of awarding laureates and diploma winners of the 15th Open Regional Contest for Quality Awards of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan according to the results of 2019.

Opening the ceremony, Pesoshin reminded that quality awards are an effective tool of government incentives for organizations to improve the quality of their products and services.

"In the current economic climate, it is necessary to quickly respond to ongoing market changes, to apply new innovative approaches, to improve management processes and the strategy of promoting products and services to the market to be competitive,” Pesoshin said.

He emphasized that every year the laureates of the competition of the Republic of Tatarstan receive recognition not only in the region, but also at the level of the Russian Federation, which shows that the regional contest is appreciated. 

“I want to note that in 2019 Tatarstan is the undisputed leader in the number of laureates. Three organizations of the republic have become laureates of the federal competition, including KAMAZ Automaker, Zelenodolsk Shipbuilding Plant, Tatneft Private Educational Institution of Additional Vocational Education. The high quality of products and services is a key factor in the success and competitiveness of enterprises," Pesoshin said.
