Rustam Minnikhanov visits Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto

On September 27, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the international Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto. It opened in 1943 in Kingston and moved to Toronto 15 years later. More than 300, 000 people visit the hall every year.

It holds exhibits about players, memorabilia and NHL trophies, the sweater with CSKA emblem which belonged to the famous Russian hockey player Anatoly Tarasov. The portraits and biographies of all members of the hall of Fame are held in MCI zone. The Stanley Cup is placed in the center of the hall. Visitors can also find out about modern teams and NHL players.

Rustam Minnikhanov looked around the galleries dedicated to the development of Canadian and European hockey. He was told about the museum history, and NHL records.
