Prime Minister's powers

Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan according to the Constitution of the Republic of Tatarstan, Republic of Tatarstan laws, Republic of Tatarstan President’s decrees determines the areas of the republican Cabinet activities and organizes its work.

Prime Minister:

• represents the Cabinet of Tatarstan in the Republic of Tatarstan and outside the rebublic;
  
• submits to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan proposals for the appointment and releasing from duties of deputy prime ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, ministers and state committees chairmen;
  
• submits to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan proposals for the creation, reorganisation and liquidation of ministries and state committees of the Republic of Tatarstan;
  
• presides over the meetings of the Cabinet of the Republic of Tatarstan and its Presidium with the right of deciding vote;
  
• signs Cabinet of the Republic of Tatarstan acts;
  
• submits to the Cabinet of the Republic of Tatarstan proposals for the establishment of organizations, coordinating and advisory bodies, committees, departments and other authorities under the Cabinet;
  
• distributes duties among deputy prime ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan;
  
• makes decisions on public administration issues and informs the Cabinet about these decisions at the regular meeting;
  
• within his competence makes decisions to encourage RT Cabinet members and other officials subordinated to him or impose disciplinary penalty on them.
