First Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Rustam Nigmatullin holds a meeting of the Anti-Drug Commission of the Republic of Tatarstan

On October 10, at the Government Houe of the republic, First Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Rustam Nigmatullin held a meeting of the Anti-Drug Commission of the republic via video-conferencing with the participation of all regional municipalities and members of municipal anti-drug commissions.

The meeting discussed the organization of work to counter illegal drug trafficking and to prevent drug addiction in Nizhnekamsk municipal region. Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of Nizhnekamsk region, Deputy Chairman of the Anti-Drug Commission in the municipality Ilnar Badretdinov reported that 161 families with 323 children were on an interdepartmental socio-rehabilitation patronage in the region. After a rehabilitation therapy that had positive effects, 44 families (79 children) were removed from the regular medical check-up list. 

The second issue on the agenda was devoted to the activities of socially oriented non-profit organizations that received subsidies to implement projects in the anti-drug field, including those aimed at the labour socialization of people who stopped using drugs.

Moreover, issues of carrying out preventive measures dedicated to the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking were discussed.
