Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin takes part in a meeting of the Government Commission on regional development in the Russian Federation

On November 1, in Moscow, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a meeting of the Government Commission on regional development in the Russian Federation held by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Mutko.

The meeting discussed issues of inter-budgetary relations, the draft federal law “On cancellation of the second part of Article 19 of the Law of the Russian Federation “On Veterinary Medicine” and proposals to reduce excessive regulation at the federal level of regional powers and considered the minimization of inefficient spending of regional budgets and the increase of the efficiency of public administration in Russian regions.

One of the key topics on the agenda of the meeting was the rights of the heads of federal executive bodies to agree on the appointment and dismissal of heads of regional executive bodies that exercise federal powers delegated to them.

The rights of the heads of federal executive authorities to agree the appointment and release from the post heads of regional executive authorities was one of the key topics on the meeting's agenda.
