As many as 1064 multi-apartment houses with the total area of 6.5 million square metres planned to be overhauled in Tatarstan in 2020

On May 16, speaking at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and all regions of the republic, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of the republic Farid Khanifov said that 1064 multi-apartment houses with the total area of 6.5 million square metres with the total funding amounting to 6b 658m 53 thousand roubles  in 41 municipal regions will be overhauled in Tatarstan in 2020.

Khanifov said that the implementation of all Gasification Fund programmes is underway. The readiness of design specifications and estimates under the programme “Providing the population with water in the settlements of Tatarstan” is 100 per cent. As many as 25.5 kilometers of water supply lines have already been constructed, one borehole drilled and two water towers installed.

According to Replacement of boilers in boiler rooms of budgetary institutions of Tatarstan programme, the readiness of design specifications and estimates is 100 per cent. An e-auction has been announced, the date of conclusion of state contract is on May, 30.

It is planned to transfer 1353 apartments in 63 multi-apartment houses in Aktanysh and Buinsk regions to individual heating systems under the programme "Switching to individual heating systems, installing modular boiler houses in cities and regions of Tatarstan. In addition, 29 boilers will be installed at 19 social and cultural facilities, and 14 kilometers of gas pipelines have been constructed.

It is planned to build 252 kilometers of power lines and replace 12177 lamps according to the programme “Restoration of street lighting in the settlements of Tatarstan”.

Tatarstan Minister also said that on May 13-14, an inspection on construction facilities, where over 200 people work, was organized. Representatives of Federal Service on Surveillance for Consumer rights protection and human well-being in Tatarstan took part in the inspection. According to the Minister, the observance of safety regulations and compliance with all requirements in connection with the sanitary-epidemiological situation were checked at the facilities.

The head of the Ministry of Construction of the republic also reported that since May 25, remote training of specialists in the development of individual housing construction is expected in the republic. The project is aimed at the development of technical and organizational competencies to increase the efficiency of design decisions.
