Alexey Pesoshin takes part in a meeting on socio-economic and socio-political development of the Volga Federal District

On October 23, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a videoconference held by Russia's Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District (VFD) Igor Komarov on pressing issues of socio-economic and socio-political development of Russian entities of the Volga Federal District.

Chief Federal Inspector for the Republic of Tatarstan Viktor Demidov also took part in the meeting. 

Before the meeting, Deputy Head of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography (Rosreestr) Alexey Shteynikov reported on the implemented projects, one of which is "Filling the Unified State Register of Real Property with the Necessary Data". Other topical issues of interaction between Rosreestr and regional authorities were also discussed.

Turning to the main agenda, Komarov thanked the heads of the VFD regions for the efficient work during the preparation and holding of the Single Voting Day and once again congratulated Rustam Minnikhanov, Oleg Nikolaev, Dmitry Makhonin and Ivan Belozertsev on the election victory.

During the meeting, heads of the VFD regions discussed and updated the readiness of the health-care systems of the VFD regions for COVID-19 patients.

The meeting participants also discussed such issues as provision of hot meals for schoolchildren, implementation of district public projects, relocation of people from dilapidated housing, improvement of payment discipline for users of energy resources, protection of the rights of citizens – participants of the shared construction, prevention of corruption offences in the regions of the District.
