Aleksey Pesoshin hands in keys from new service cars to Tatarstan veterinary doctors
On 16 November at a ceremony held in front of the Korston Recreation and Culture Center in Kazan, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin handed in keys from 30 new LADA Niva Travel service cars to specialists of the state veterinary service of the republic.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Head of the regional Government emphasized that due to the well-coordinated work of the whole agricultural complex, an important part of which the veterinary service is, Tatarstan is still one of the leading regions of the country in development of agriculture.
“The veterinary service has a responsible task of preventing dangerous diseases. Without reliable veterinary support it is impossible to preserve and develop cattle breeding and production of qualitative produce,” he said.
“New cars will help you to provide prompt veterinary services, efficiently carry out preventive measures and mitigate animals’ infection diseases. I am sure that the veterinary service will continue providing the stable development of the most important sphere of agribusiness, safety and competitiveness of the produced goods,” the regional Prime Minister concluded.
The Russian Deputy Minister of Agriculture Maksim Uvaydov, who also took part in the ceremony, emphasized that Tatarstan attaches great attention to supporting the veterinary service. ”Agriculture is developing substantially here as your region as none of the other ones understands that the veterinary service should also develop. I am sure that epizootic welfare is in reliable hands,” he said.
Tatarstan Minister of agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov and the Head of the Chief Veterinary Department of the regional Cabinet Almaz Khisamutdinov also took part in the event.
