Tatarstan President visits North Korean companies

On March 20 during his visit to Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited ceramic and industrial oils production factories. Tatarstan President was accompanied by Russian Ambassador in the DPRK Alexander Timonin.

Built in 2011, the Taedong Ceramic Factory produces tiles, decorative bricks, roof tiles and dry building mixes.

During the visit to the factory, samples of products were demonstrated to Tatarstan President. The quests were also shown round the production lines. According to the factory’s representatives, new technologies are the main company’s focus.

Rustam Minnikhanov made a note in the distinguished visitors’ book of the company. “We wish all the employees new great achievements,” Tatarstan President wrote in the book.

Then, Rustam Minnikhanov paid his visit to the industrial oil recycling factory on production of lubricating materials, made of base oils using additives, for cars and other machinery. The factory  features a line for manufacturing different containers of polymer materials.

Rustam Minnikhanov and his party also saw the Museum of Victory in the Fatherland Liberation War 1950-1953.

Later on the same day, an agreement on cooperation between the DPRK and Russia’s Chambers of Commerce and Industry was signed by chambers’ chairmen in the presence of Tatarstan President.
