As many as 468,900 square meters of housing commissioned in Tatarstan

On March 4, speaking at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin reported that as of March 3, 2017 as many as 468,900 square meters of housing or 19.5 per cent of the plan have been commissioned in the republic.

Faizullin said that in 2017, it is planned to build 13 houses with 379 apartments with an area of ​​22,600 square meters under the rental housing programme. Four houses with 30 apartments with an area of ​​1,500 square meters have been commissioned in Verkhniy Uslon and Cheremshan regions by now.

The construction of houses under the programme to improve living conditions of WWII veterans is underway, he went on to report.

This year it is planned to provide housing for 305 orphans under residential lease agreements in the amount of 346 million 742.6 thousand roubles. The Minister said that work is already underway in this regard.

He also reported that 13 of 111 objects have been commissioned under the multi-apartment housing investment programme.
