More than 43,500 complaints sent to the Public Control System for ten months of the current year

On November 7, speaking at a briefing at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, Commissioner for Human Rights in Tatarstan Sariya Saburskaya reported that over 43,500 complaints have been sent to the Public Control System for ten months of the current year, which is 14 per cent more as compared to the same period last year. 

She said that there are a total of 62 categories in the Public Control System. The improvement of territories, maintenance and repair of municipal roads and road traffic organization have become the most popular ones this year.

As noted at the meeting, the Public Control System is one of the most popular services available in the Open Government. It is aimed to address urgent and socially significant problems of citizens in social sphere, communication, business, ecology, roads, cars, improvement of territories and infrastructure, housing utilities, agriculture. The Public Control System has been operating since April 2012.

The service allows people to easily apply to authorities without standing in a queue or writing official letters. They just need to fill in the form on the website.

Deputy Minister of Information and Communication of the republic Timur Zaripov, who also took part in the briefing, told journalists about the updated mobile application “Services of the Republic of Tatarstan”.  In particular, he said that using this application people are able to pay taxes and debts. At the same time, he explained that it would work only if a payer has a corresponding receipt with the necessary data.
