Rustam Minnikhanov sends telegram of condolences to Head of Mari El Republic Aleksandr Evstigneev over the tragedy on the highway in Kilemarskiy region of the republic

On November 17, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov sent a telegram to Head of Mari El Republic Aleksandr Evstigneev to express his condolences over the tragedy that took place on the highway in Kilemarskiy region.

“On my own behalf and on behalf of the citizens of Tatarstan please accept sincere condolences over the tragedy on the highway in Kilemarskiy region of Mari El Republic,” the telegram reads. “The loss of life has struck deeply at our hearts and we ask you to convey words of sympathy and support to the relatives and friends of victims killed in this terrible accident. We wish quick recovery to those who have survived after the tragedy”.

On Thursday, the 16th of November, 2017 at 17:30 on the 64th kilometer of the Yoshkar-Ola – Kozmodemyansk highway in Kilemarskiy region of Mari El Republic a road accident happened. According to preliminary data a driver lost control of Mercedes Sprinter passenger bus and drove in the oncoming lane where he collided with Freightliner Century timber truck, being part a road-train. There were 18 people in the bus.

On 24 April, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the preservation of cultural heritage sites and confined to the International Day of Historical Monuments and Sites held in the Government House of the republic, the Aid to the Rais of Tatarstan Olesya Baltusova informed that in 2024 the Rebus Forum will be held on 14-15 November. She reminded that in the current year the forum will be named “Aglomerations: Experience, Opportunities. Challenges” and will be held with participation of China “as it will take place during the ROSTCI Forum.”

On 24 April Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov together with speakers and experts, investors, representatives of start-ups and venture funds, large corporations and development institutes took part in events of the “zero” day of the Russian Venture Forum dedicated to the topic of “Technological Entrepreneurship: the space of highest skills.

The VOIN (Warrior) Center and Tatarstan Government sign a cooperation agreement

On 24 April Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Rustam Nigmatullin on behalf of the Government of the republic and the Director of the VOIN Center Igor Kazarezov signed an agreement on cooperation between the Government of the republic and the Center, which envisages interaction in issues of patriotic upbringing and military and sports training of youngsters.

As many as 100 cultural heritage sites will be examined and taken under state protection in Tatarstan

On 24 April, speaking at a briefing in the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, the Chairman of the Regional Committee on protection of Cultural Heritage Sites Ivan Guschin informed that in 2024 the Committee initiated historical and cultural expertise of nearly 100 sites and 20 archeological monuments to take them under state protection.
