Tatarstan specialists presented projects in the sphere of medicine, pharmacology and biotechnology using nanotechnologies to management of State Corporation “Rosnanotekh”

First Vice Premier of Tatarstan government held the expanded session of Coordination Council on realization of the Agreement on cooperation in the field of development nanotechnologies and nanoindustry between State corporation " Rosnanotekh " and Republic Tatarstan .

Deputy Director General of State Corporation “Rosnanotekh” Andrey Malyshev took part in meeting. “We have definite priorities in “Rosnanotekh”, medical projects are of great importance. Therefore, decision was made to create specialized management for investment in the sphere of medical industry”, - Andrey Malyshev said. By his words more than 100 applications were submitted in this sphere. Two projects have already been approved bu Supervision Council and are being implemented.

Boris Pavlov informed about things which are being done in the sphere of nanoindustry development in Tatarstan, about projects in medicine, pharmacology and biotechnology.

Minister of health care of Republic Tatarstan Airat Farakhov reported on “Use of innovative technologies in modern medicine of Republic Tatarstan”.

Representatives of various Scientific and research institutes, departments of Kazan state university, Kazan technological university and others also reported (made reports) at meeting.

Upon finishing the meeting First Deputy Prime Minister of Republic Tatarstan reminded that Tatarstan specialists will take part in the II international forum of nanotechnologies (Moscow, October 6-8, 2009).
