Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in 4th session of Tatarstan State Council of 5th convocation

On November 26, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the 4th session of Tatarstan State Council of the 5th convocation, where the presidium introduced 41 issues for consideration, including 23 draft bills of the Republic of Tatarstan. Ten draft bills will be considered in the first reading, nine- in the second.
The bill on budget of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2015 and planned period of 2016 and 2017 will be the main issue on the agenda. 113 amendments have been introduced, 8 of them are recommended to be declined by the relevant committee.
Personnel issues were also discussed at the session. In particular, powers of Chairman of Constitutional Court of the Republic of Tatarstan Viktor Demidov will be terminated on November 30 in connection with expiration of their term stipulated by legislation (10 years). Such decision was made by Tatarstan State Council today.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Viktor Demidov for his work and handed a Letter of gratitude.
Chairman of the State Council Farid Mukhametshin said that the candidacy of new Head of the Constitutional Court will be considered by the parliament in December.
Besides, Tatyana Larionova was appointed Deputy Chairman of Tatarstan State Council. She thanked deputies for given trust.
Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, and members of Tatarstan Government took part in the session.
On 24 April, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the preservation of cultural heritage sites and confined to the International Day of Historical Monuments and Sites held in the Government House of the republic, the Aid to the Rais of Tatarstan Olesya Baltusova informed that in 2024 the Rebus Forum will be held on 14-15 November. She reminded that in the current year the forum will be named “Aglomerations: Experience, Opportunities. Challenges” and will be held with participation of China “as it will take place during the ROSTCI Forum.”
On 24 April Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov together with speakers and experts, investors, representatives of start-ups and venture funds, large corporations and development institutes took part in events of the “zero” day of the Russian Venture Forum dedicated to the topic of “Technological Entrepreneurship: the space of highest skills.
On 24 April Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Rustam Nigmatullin on behalf of the Government of the republic and the Director of the VOIN Center Igor Kazarezov signed an agreement on cooperation between the Government of the republic and the Center, which envisages interaction in issues of patriotic upbringing and military and sports training of youngsters.
On 24 April, speaking at a briefing in the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, the Chairman of the Regional Committee on protection of Cultural Heritage Sites Ivan Guschin informed that in 2024 the Committee initiated historical and cultural expertise of nearly 100 sites and 20 archeological monuments to take them under state protection.
