Marat Akhmetov: We managed to preserve major indicators in livestock industry

On January 24, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held the meeting, devoted to livestock industry, at Tatarstan Government House. Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov reported: “There was a slight growth in livestock industry last year. I consider it as satisfactory taking into consideration the problems of agro-industrial complex in 2014. We managed to preserve major indicators in the field”.
In 2014 in Tatarstan 481,000 tons of cattle and birds were bred (+0,2%), gross milk yield made up 1.73 million tons(+1%), while milk yield in private subsidiary farming was decreased by 6% and amounted to 40,000 tons. 1.1 billion of chicken eggs were produced.
Cattle stock with 1.03 million heads remained at the same level as it was in 2013.But the amount of cattle in private subsidiary farming was reduced by 6 %.
Proceeds of agricultural producers in cash made 71.7 billion roubles.
Marat Akhmetov said that loans will be unavailable for a lot of agricultural producers, and the sowing campaign will be carried out on money from milk production.
Tatarstan President paid attention to the necessity of increasing the profitability of milk production in some agricultural producers. “It is important to receive proceeding as well as profit”, he concluded.
On 2 May, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of Tatarstan Investments Development Agency Taliya Minullina said: “We already have nearly 11 thousand participants registered from 80 countries. We understand that this is not the limit. The registration ends on 6 May and we expect as usual that there will the increased number of participants.”
On 29 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin attended a rugby game between Strela Ak-Bars (Kazan) and Lokomotiv-Penza teams held at the Mordovia Arena stadium in Saransk with participation of 7 102 spectators.
On 24 April, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the preservation of cultural heritage sites and confined to the International Day of Historical Monuments and Sites held in the Government House of the republic, the Aid to the Rais of Tatarstan Olesya Baltusova informed that in 2024 the Rebus Forum will be held on 14-15 November. She reminded that in the current year the forum will be named “Aglomerations: Experience, Opportunities. Challenges” and will be held with participation of China “as it will take place during the ROSTCI Forum.”
On 24 April Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov together with speakers and experts, investors, representatives of start-ups and venture funds, large corporations and development institutes took part in events of the “zero” day of the Russian Venture Forum dedicated to the topic of “Technological Entrepreneurship: the space of highest skills.
