20 July 2020, Monday

On July 20, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin introduced new Director General of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Kazan Company Rinat Sabirov, who previously held the post of Aide to Tatarstan President, to the staff. He replaced Rinat Khanbikov, who headed the company since 1998.

Pesoshin noted that during his work at the company, Khanbikov showed himself as an experienced manager and professional in his area. Much work has been done to strengthen payment discipline in the field of gas supplies, he went on to say. Thus, a decrease in the level of debt has been recorded in the republic since 2015. “I want to thank you for the work done. I am sure that your professional qualities and rich experience will continue to be in demand,” the Prime Minister addressed to Khanbikov.

Then, Pesoshin handed in a medal of the Order of Merit for the Republic of Tatarstan for high achievements in professional activity and many years of fruitful work to Khanbikov.

Pesoshin wished Sabirov success in his new responsible position. “I am sure that you will cope with the duties assigned to you,” he noted.

Deputy General Director for Gas Sales and Transportation of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Company Yuri Pakhomovsky added that Khanbikov remains in the company as the Advisor to the General Director of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Kazan.
