Russia Today Office opens in Kazan soon. It was discussed in the course of Prime Minister’s meeting with Tatyana Burkaeva, Russia Today Marketing Director, and Aydar Aganin, Deputy Chief Editor of Rusiya Al-Yaum, Director of Arabic Broadcasting Directorate.
Tatarstan was also represented by Marat Muratov, Director General of the Mass Communications Agency “Tatmedia”, Andrey Kuzmin, the Head of RT Cabinet Press Service, Ilshat Aminov, Director General of the Television and Radio Company “Novy Vek” (TNV).
Rustam Minnikhanov and Tatyana Burkaeva discussed the possibility of Russia Today offices opening in the republic and further co-operation. According to Russia Today representatives, nowadays numerous events are taking place in the world and particularly in Russia. These events attract western audience attension. Arabic viewers show interest in Tatarstan.
Prime Minister noted, that Russia and its regions, and in particular the Republic of Tatarstan, are poorly represented in global information space. Often the information about an event is incomplete or misrepresented. The opening of Russia Today offices can improve the situation. The republic is ready to give necessary support, the Head of the Government said.
On 29 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin attended a rugby game between Strela Ak-Bars (Kazan) and Lokomotiv-Penza teams held at the Mordovia Arena stadium in Saransk with participation of 7 102 spectators.
On 24 April, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the preservation of cultural heritage sites and confined to the International Day of Historical Monuments and Sites held in the Government House of the republic, the Aid to the Rais of Tatarstan Olesya Baltusova informed that in 2024 the Rebus Forum will be held on 14-15 November. She reminded that in the current year the forum will be named “Aglomerations: Experience, Opportunities. Challenges” and will be held with participation of China “as it will take place during the ROSTCI Forum.”
On 24 April Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov together with speakers and experts, investors, representatives of start-ups and venture funds, large corporations and development institutes took part in events of the “zero” day of the Russian Venture Forum dedicated to the topic of “Technological Entrepreneurship: the space of highest skills.
On 24 April Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Rustam Nigmatullin on behalf of the Government of the republic and the Director of the VOIN Center Igor Kazarezov signed an agreement on cooperation between the Government of the republic and the Center, which envisages interaction in issues of patriotic upbringing and military and sports training of youngsters.
