Aleksey Pesoshin introduces the new Acting Head of Executive Committee of Pestretsy region

On 17 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in an ad-hoc meeting of the Pestretsy municipality Council of the republic, where he introduced the new Acting Head of the Executive Committee of the region Rais Suleymanov who replaced the Head of the Committee Vadim Nikitin who submitted an application about early termination of his appointment.

Earlier the Rais of the republic made a decision to transfer the Head of Pestretsy region Ilkham Kashapov to the position of the Head of Tatarstan representative office in Belarus due to which the latter also submitted an application about early termination of his appointment to the regional Council.

Speaking at the meeting, Aleksey Pesoshin thanked Ilkham Kashapov for his fruitful work as the Head of the region and congratulated him with a new responsible position. He emphasized that Tatarstan and Minsk have tight business and economic ties and cooperation in the social sphere. He also reminded that during his last visit to Kazan during the Game of the Future Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko had a meeting with the Rais of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov and they set forth a task to expand further cooperation between the republics.

After having told about achievements of the region under the administration of Ilkham Kashapov, Aleksey Pesoshin handed him in the Medal “100th Anniversary of Establishment of the TASSR and introduced Rais Suleymanov to members of the Pestretsy Council.
